I came accross a new and improved high-tech doggie door called Plexidoor Electronic. The door is designed to work only for your pooch, who wears a sensor key attached to his collar. It’s kind of like a mini garage door that motors up and down. The thought is this door will provide extra security as well as save on energy. No more strays following Fido in through the swinging door. Depending on the size and model, these doors can retail well into the $700 range. You can’t put a price tag on peace of mind.
