If you want to read moving tributes visit www.uswardogs.org to read the stories of our latest fallen heroes. Thousands of dogs have served in our nation’s military and died in action. Most of the dogs have been Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherd dogs. These dogs are amazing, their lives are always on the line, that is canine courage at its best.
