If your pooch is bored with all of his toys and is getting that hangdog look, remember one thing: everything is funnier with a mustache. At least, that’s the philosophy behind the creators of the Humunga Stache, a toy that is a ball and a mustache all rolled into one. Today The Daily RFT took a look at this fetch toy with the humorous twist:
Its official name is the Humunga Stache Durable Dog Toy. It costs $15. It is 6.5 inches long, so it would look really, really funny on a chihuahua. The stache part is attached to a rubber ball, like so:

The article cites a glowing review for the toy on the Muttropolis website; the review also mentions that the toy should be tossed and treated like a ball often, so that dogs will be trained to hold it in their mouths. Not that you’ll need any prompting or reminding to use this toy often — as if exercise and fun for your pooch wasn’t reward enough already, the silly sight of him toting the mustache back ensures endless entertainment.
Check out more info on the Humunga Stache on moodypet, which hints at upcoming releases of junior and mini mustache models for smaller dogs in Spring of 2010. We can’t wait!

Environmental consciousness is a huge concern for people these days, but sometimes that concern doesn’t translate over when thinking about pets. Overly processed foods, chemical-leeching plastic toys, dozens of plastic bags during walks — all of these can leave an unhealthy impact on the Earth and even your pet, but it doesn’t have to be [...]

This St. Patrick’s Day you and your pooch can really show off your Irish pride. It’s important to remember to keep your canine companion’s teeth clean and healthy all year round. This month is a good reminder though, on just how important it really is. “To work here, you’ve got to love dogs – it’s an unwritten rule,” says Jen G., senior copywriter and owner of Miles, a three-year-old Boston terrier.

What do you give to the person who has everything… including a new puppy? I found the answer after searching high and low for the perfect present for my friend Liz’s baby French Bulldog, Elsa. Liz had done all but decorate a nursery for her new furry friend and had stock-piled everything she needed to [...]

When you think about it, as pet owners, we’re also potentially our pooch’s personal stylist. Just like us, some of them like to go natural, while others prefer to make a fashion statement. If your furry friend is the type that likes to flaunt what she’s got, then the Bling Collar by BowHaus NYC is just what [...]

Does your pooch go crazy for sushi? I bet she will when she sees the Sushi Pups Plush Dog Toy Set.
