Bring The Bling

collars.jpgWhen you think about it, as pet owners, we’re also potentially our pooch’s personal stylist.  Just like us, some of them like to go natural, while others prefer to make a fashion statement.   If your furry friend is the type that likes to flaunt what she’s got, then the Bling Collar by BowHaus NYC is just what she’s looking for.

BowHaus NCY was started by Manhattan fashion designer, Ruby Chan.  Her goal was to create luxury dog accessories with great, modern design, using the highest-quality materials and the best workmanship, that were both beautiful and functional.  She creates unique syles from roses or rhinestones to skulls or snakeskin.  The company will also create custom designs for those one-of-a-kind doggies.

All collars are exquisitely made of fine, soft Italian leather, are stitched and finished by hand and have painted edges.  The pieces are uniquely hand-set and are polished with either Austrian rhinestones or a special design piece attached to the collar to give it extraordinary flair.  BowHaus NYC collars retail starting at $140.

I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I am that there’s a new way for our furry friends to travel.  My pup, Bella, always knows that something’s up when she sees my suitcase.  I always wait until the last minute to pack because I want to minimize the stress that comes with her knowing [...]

Fashion Meets Function

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you realize that maybe you haven’t… especially if you haven’t seen the PuppyPurse.  I can think of several times my pup was too scared to walk in a crowed area or too tired to keep walking and would have loved for me to have scooped her up and [...]
