Concert Just For the Dogs
Hundreds of dogs gathered last weekend at the Sydney Opera House for a concert only a dog could love. The show was organized by American musician Laurie Anderson and her rock legend husband Lou Reed. The Music For Dogs event featured a concerto of high-pitch whistles, synthesizers and strings. I bet it was truly music to their floppy ears. The 20-minute concert opened with a set featuring whale calls and soothing white noise only later to be practically drowned out by hundreds of barks and howls. It was a great turnout with dog owners bringing around 1,000 pets to enjoy the free event. And…can you believe there were not even any dog fights in the mosh pit?
