Dog Days of Summer Event

Dogs like wine tasting too!  Check out the 7th annual Dog Days of Summer open house event coming to Sonoma County on August 6, 2011. This fundraising and fun-raising event will have several wineries open their doors to a winetasting that includes dogs! Bring your dog and celebrate the release of Muttitage, the new wine created by Mutt Lynch Winery. The awesome painting by Nancy Schutt called ”Out of Reach”, that won the wine label contest this year, will be the label. Schutt will be on hand to put her paw print on your bottle.

Tickets are $20 before August 4th, available online, by clicking here or $25 at the door. This is a charity event and a portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to the Healdsburg Animal Shelter, a local shelter that has been helping homeless animals for over 50 years.

Sounds like a fun summer event for both two and four legged wine snobs.
