Game On

Everyone knows that our furry friends LOVE to play.  I found a game that keeps my best buddy entertained and rewards him at the same time.  The Dog Turbo was designed by Nina Ottosson, who develops dog-activating toys and games for dogs and dog-owners.  This game is a challenging puzzle in which you insert treats into restricted passages.  The object of the game is to have your pet move the blocks toward the outside of the puzzle with his paw or nose in order to release the treat from the passage and collect his reward.

This game is great because you can determine the difficulty of the game based upon where you place the treats and the blocks.  If you place the treats close to the edge with the blocks behind, all Fido needs to do is move a block in the right direction using his paw or nose to get the treats out through the hole on the side. 

If you want to make the game more difficult, you place the blocks in rows in the circle in the middle with the treats in the slots.  Your pup will then have to work to get the blocks out into the slots toward the edge so the treats will fall out through the holes.

It’s important not to let your buddy chew or bite the toy, so you should only let him play with it under your supervision.  Trust me, you’ll have so much fun watching your pal play with his puzzle,  you wouldn’t have it any other way.
