Hilary Swank Supports Finding Homes for Shelter Pets

hilary-swank-puppies-240kgsIt’s nice to see animal-loving celebrities who stand up in support of wonderful programs like the Iams Home 4 the Holidays.  Home 4 the Holidays was founded in 1999 and aims to help adopt 1,500,000 pets this holiday season via non-profit shelters and rescue organizations.  Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank actually has two shelter pups of her own and has been involved in pet causes since she was a teenager.

Swank is currently promoting her latest film, “Amelia” but still found time in her busy schedule to help raise awareness for shelter pets.  Now that’s the holiday spirit.  We should all support our local shelters and help our furry friends get adopted into new homes this holiday.
