Puppy Bowl Kicks off Feb. 1st
Not everyone is going to be glued to the Super Bowl this year. Dog lovers everywhere can tune in to their favorite furry football players as they take to the field. Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl V is back for another year of canine competition. It’s a whole new group of puppies, this time all players have been recruited from local shelters and are up for adoption.
To start out the show, airing at 3 p.m., “Pepper the Parrot” will be singing the national anthem. You can even go online during the big game to vote for MVP (most valuable puppy). At halftime, watch out as the kitties take over for a new edition of “Kitty Halftime”.
