Summer Vacation Ideas for Your Pooch

sfpoochWhy not leave your heart in San Francisco this summer?  Your best buddy won’t mind. San Francisco is on its way to becoming one of the most dog-friendly cities in the country. Here are some of the pawsitively awesome fur-friendly spots the city has to offer:

Golden Gate Park-they offer an off-leash fenced park for Fido to play while you can enjoy all the local people watching.

Fort Funston Park-Another park which offers off-leash nirvana for your pup as well as beautiful coastal views for you.  

Cable Cars-Dogs can actually jump up and ride the cars during select hours. Check the website www.sfmta.com for the scoop.

Handlery Union Square Hotel-if your four legged friend is under 40 pounds, he can stay the night with you in a suite.  He will even be greeted with a special treat upon checking in.

San Francisco is sure to be a fun get away for both of you this summer.
