World’s Tallest Dog Goes to “Titan”
Titan, a handsome Great Dane living in San Diego, was named the world’s tallest dog by the Guinness Book of World Records. Titan’s proud owner, Diana Taylor says he stands 42.25 inches from floor to shoulder, weighs 190 pounds and doesn’t stand on his hind legs because it isn’t good for him. Taylor adopted Titan in 2005 from a rescue group in Tennessee. Unfortunately, Titan is dealing with some ailments. The big guy is blind, deaf, epileptic and undergoes acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments every three weeks.
Titan is often mistaken for a horse by young kids, but his owner says he is a very gentle soul. Visit Titan’s website to learn more about the World’s Tallest Dog.
