Fountain Frenzy

Now that summer’s here, it’s important to make sure our furry friends stay cool and hydrated.  Not only is getting enough water crucial in beating the summer heat, it’s essential to a pet’s good health.  The Drinkwell Pet Fountain  gives my pup the constant supply of fresh water she wants and needs.  It was designed by a veterinarian and  encourages water intake for healthier dogs, helps support kidney function and can prevent crystal formation and obstruction in pets.

The fountain is so easy to use, too.  I simply fill the fountain with water, place it on a flat, even surface and plug it in.  The water pouring into the basin recycles back through the filter and aerates continually.  It’s really quiet and my dog drinks way more water than she ever did when she drank out of a regular bowl. 

I’m not sure what she likes more – the fact that the water is more refreshing because it’s cool or because of the fountain’s 5″ steady stream of water.  These reasons combined with the ease of daily maintenance and weekly cleaning make owning this product a win for me and a summer hit for my best pal.
