Louis Vuitton and Bottega Veneta for Dogs?

The end of last month’s Pet Fashion Week in New York City kicked off new ‘08 and ‘09 designs from many high end designers. The likes of Gucci, Prada, Emma Rose, Loius Vuitton and Bottega Veneta all displayed the latest and greatest in ultra high end pet fashion and accessories. These aren’t your average $100-200 pieces, we’re talking up to $10,000 for custom doggie wedding dresses and coats & carry bags with price tags over $2000 each. There appears to be no recession within the walls of the high fashion for dogs. Reports are that demand is higher than ever for unique looks from these premier labels. Nesting is the “in” thing to do and what better way than to spoil your pup than with style. It looks like people fashion and doggie fashion are getting closer and closer every year.
