Taking the Dog for a Stroll
It’s definitely the latest craze…dog strollers. At first, I thought this was a pretty silly concept. Don’t dogs want to walk and need exercise? I decided to look into it further and realized there are some valid reasons a doggie stroller might be necessary for certain pups. The smaller and older dog breeds could definitely benefit. Or, you could even startout walking/running your dog and as he or she tires, put them in the stroller to rest while you continue your workout. It could even be a safer, easier way to transport your pet to places like the vet or outside events.
There are a million different doggie strollers to choose from. They make them in fun and trendy styles too. I particularly like the looks of the Sport Strike Stroller and the Quadro, both made by PetEgo. The Quadro allows you to fit two pods on so you can carry your two furry friends together. The pods are detachable and become pet carriers.
Normally I would carry my beagle Oliver in a boring old crate, but now I might have to consider strolling him in style.
