I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I am that there’s a new way for our furry friends to travel. My pup, Bella, always knows that something’s up when she sees my suitcase. I always wait until the last minute to pack because I want to minimize the stress that comes with her knowing I’m going to leave. Thanks to Pet Airways, a new airline that was created to provide a safe and comfortable solution for the transportation of pets, she’s going with me on my next vacation.
Pet Airways ensures that pets are in good hands of people who love and know how to take care of them. From the moment a pet is dropped off at a Pet Lounge, the pet is always under the care of trained Pet Attendants. Pets fly in planes that are fully-lit, climate-controlled and have the proper level of fresh air circulation they need to be comfortable.
The airline says that pets will be boarded and de-boarded as quickly as possible, never left in the cold or heat and will be offered toilet facilities, food and water during stops. Pet Airways launches July 14, 1009 and fares start at $149 each way.
