Doing His “Business” in Style
Potty training can be a tough and inconvenient experience for those dog owners who live in high rises or condos and have no yard to work with. I speak from experience as my new beagle puppy, Oliver, has only a small deck where he can do his “business” unless I am able to take the little guy out for a walk.
It’s amazing how things have advanced from the days of simply using old newspaper for housebreaking. I personally decided to use the “wee wee” pads, but am now second guessing this choice as I’m discovering some even better inventions are out there.
I found the stylish Penthouse Dog Potty to be a unique alternative for the pampered pet in your life. This design, invented by three Houston women, has an easy to clean drainage system and comes with artificial K9 grass made to withstand and maintain a clean environment. And…if that isn’t enough, you can always upgrade to real sod or grass which works well with the system too. The penthouse potty is priced at $599, but for those that are feeling the economy crisis, the smaller condo canine tray (also made by Cosmopolitan Canine) might fit in your budget at a mere $109.
If anyone reading happens to have found a new and improved way that works well for you and your pooch, please feel free to share the wealth. Long gone are the days of finding my guilty-faced Oliver chewing up his own wee wee pad.
