Chateau Poochie, Luxury Unleashed!
Just last night I caught an episode of High Net Worth on CNBC. A segment on Pampered Pets was coming up next, I had to watch. When I think of pampered pets, my mind immediately pulls up $850 Swarovski crystal encrusted canine perfumes & luxury trumble beds. We have recently covered pampered pets enjoying the resort life and the nightlife of all things. I wasn’t prepared for what I saw next.
The co-founder of Chateau Poochie toured us around this luxurious 10,000 square-foot hotel exclusively for dogs and cats, that’s right, four leggers only. Think of the finest chic European five-star resort flowing with amentities galore. Not only are some of the suites larger than my master bedroom, they come standard with a plasma TV and web cams, filtered water & complete air exchange/air filtration systems, designer furniture & bedding, & evening turn down service. Also available are gourmet holistic meals, client pickup and delivery, doggie social(happy) hour and a behavorial institute.
Whether its for an hour massage, a stylish new coiffure, a day of play, a weekend getaway of slightly longer stay, they have refined excellence. How could it not with such services as a grooming salon, wellness center, designer boutique(yes a full store), training and yes, treadmills, bakery & health food market, pet modeling agency, and of course, a pooch limo service. Let’s hope the driver isn’t also a canine.
Unfortunately, Chateau Poochie has only one location in Pompano Beach Florida but they are accepting reservations. If I ever make it to that part of the country, i’ll make sure to stop in for a tour.
